TSS Italy Academy & Summit
It has been approx. two years since the last centralized TSS Advanced Academy was held. So this year, in June 2023, we introduced our version. TSS Italy hosted the first local edition of the Advanced Academy at the Relais Bellaria Hotel & Congressi in Bologna, Italy.
Several promising and outstanding performing employees were invited to attend the event. During these two days, our talents had the opportunity to learn about new best practices, be inspired by internal and external Italian speakers, and, above all, network and share their own experiences and knowledge.
One of the main highlights of the Italian Advanced Academy was the Management Drives session held by Norbert Grillitsch (Modus Maris), where participants could discover their internal drivers and demotivators and test their managerial skills. And we had the Finance Bootcamp presented by Virginia Cisterni (Manager Finance Control of TSS Italy) and speeches by Francesco Basili (General Manager of NextIP), Andrea Danielli (R&D Manager of RTS – Remote Terminal System), Stefano Vitale (Managing Director of AP System), and Robertino Piazza (Managing Director of RTS – Remote Terminal System).
The event ended with a VMS Game, organized by Jurgen Thomaes (Portfolio Manager), that allowed our talents to understand the dynamics of Total Specific Solutions better, putting themselves to the test while having fun and getting to know each other better—a successful first edition, thanks to our talents and all who attended.
After the conclusion of the Advanced Academy, we hosted the second local edition of the Leadership Summit for the group of Italian Business Units on June 8th and 9th, 2023, at the same hotel.
At the Summit, the Italian management teams were inspired through a series of keynote, round table, and break-out sessions to share best practices, experiences, and strategies focusing on the continuous development and evolution of our group.
TSS considers sharing knowledge and best practices and providing access to a network of knowledgeable and experienced colleagues of great value. We are a perpetual owner, and once a company is acquired, we focus on business unit continuity by sharing our insights and providing access to valuable networks.
An important external inspiration came from the speech held by Lorenzo Greco, Chief Revenue Officer of Lutech, who emphasized and supported the importance of organic growth, one of our group's most important success factors. Francesco Basili (General Manager of NextIp), Andrea Carnevali (Managing Director of Gesinf), Stefano Vitale (Managing Director of AP System), and Robertino Piazza (Managing Director of RTS – Remote Terminal System) also offered their expertise. Last but not least, our CEO Han Knooren came over to Italy to inspire and challenge the group. During his speech, Han highlighted the importance of building long-term relationships and client intimacy, one of the winning strategies of our group.
A successful second edition, thanks to the organizers and the input from our management teams and all who attended.
We can't wait to repeat our events next year!
