On the 5th and 6th of October, our M&A professionals gathered again in Warsaw for their 6th annual summit and training event. This year, we had the privilege to welcome over 130 people from more than 20 countries to discuss topics in the area of M&A process management, deal origination, and many other topics relatable to day to day life of our investment team.
We hosted over 20 break-out sessions held by 16 speakers, sharing knowledge specifically for business development, M&A, and legal colleagues. Keynote sessions included presentations by Robin van Poelje (Founder and CEO of TDC) and Bernard Anzarouth (CIO at Constellation Software Inc.). In addition, Han Knooren and Ramon Zanders hosted a panel discussion where five former business sellers shared insights on their experience in the preliminary discussions and sale process. Thanks to these contributions and a great environment, we were able to deliver on our objective to share insights and best practices from within each respective domain of the investment profession.
Equally important was the opportunity to interact with fellow peers and exchange ideas on the day-to-day practice of working for TSS, Topicus, and Constellation Software. We closed the event with a group dinner and party at one of Warsaw’s’ many venues on Friday night.
